Day 14, 15, 16, 17, AND 18…eek

Ok, so this week has not been so successful.  Apparently my body can only handle two weeks of everyday activity.  Sad.

The 14th…well, I worked (Anna was on vacation so work was VERY constant).  Then my ex sister in law came into town to pickup her kids.  We ran a few errands, visited, and watched a movie.  Then went to bed.  Not sure if you can consider just going ALL day long activity…but perhaps.

The 15th…again, I worked and again Anna was still on vacation.  Work was non stop again.  I think this is what wore me out mentally.  It’s hard to mentally unwind after non stop for several days.  After work I went to my last divorce class, well it was a pot luck.  We had taco salads…so pretty healthy.  After that I was spent.

The 16th…Yay for Anna being back at work.  I definitely felt like I needed a vacation from her vacation 🙂  But I am glad she had a good time, every deserves a vacation.  I skipped bible study this night…was just too tired.  Tried to take a nap, but no luck.  Met up with Andrea at Applebee’s for trivia night…and since we were pretty much the only ones there…trivia night didn’t happen.  Oh well.

The 17th…after work I had a dentist appointment to get a temporary crown put on.  I had high hopes to mow after that…not sure what I was thinking there *roll eyes*.  I watched The Mentalist and went to bed.

The 18th…phew…made it to Friday…I left work two hours early today.  It was slow and I wanted to get home to do the lawn work.  So, finally getting my hour of activity in today with mowing.

Again, my body and mind were tuckered out.  I am going to extend my month into the first week of July to make up for this week.  As much as I didn’t want to fail at this challenge, I may have.  But when it comes down to it, I need to listen to my body.  Apparently it needed some down time, but now I feel ready to go again.

No coffee.

Well, off to relax for a bit…

  1. You didn’t fail! You tried your best and your body just had other things in mind. Now you know what your body can handle and the more you do it the more your body will be able to take. Very proud of you, keep it up!
